What a beautiful week. Daryl and I were able to get away for a while. We went to two islands and Costa Maya which is right above Belize. We went on a Royal Caribbean cruise. This was Daryl's 4th cruise and my 3rd. This one tops the charts! All our cruises have been through the Mexico Riviera before so this was different for us. I couldn't believe the beauty of the Caribbean! We both LOVE cruises. There are many reasons why we love them but mostly because you get completely spoiled. You definitely don't have to think of anything it is all already thought of for you. Its the only vacation I come home from not needing another vacation to recover. You just come home relaxed.
The first couple days we were on the boat. There was a huge rock climbing wall, flow rider, ice skating rink, golf, mall, food and more that I am already forgeting.

We were told we looked like twins--her and her husband we met on the boat and became instant friends. Her husband is like Daryl looking into a mirror. They were so much fun.
First stop: Cayman Islands
We first went and swam with the stingrays! I was nervous but once I got in the water with them I actually really loved it! They feel like mushrooms and are very calm. I have swam with dolphins before and that was a neat experience but this was right up there! The water was unreal! |

Another great friend I made. When we took off our swimsuit cover ups we realized we had the exact same print of swimsuit! Twins again.
Second Stop: Cozumel
We rented scooters and drove around most of the island. It was fun to stop at different beaches. We ended up at a beach called Paradise. We ate lunch there and got massages in a small hut on the beach. Perfection.

Third Stop: Costa Maya
We toured the Mayan ruins and then played at the beach. Daryl got a second massage. This time by two ladies at the same time!

On the way back we mostly slept and ate:) We went dancing, played games, went to shows on the ship. Daryl was in a game show (and had to dress up like a girl). We went to les miserable at the theatre on the day we got back to port and went and saw alligators at alligator alley. I have tons more pictures but these are the highlights. A perfect vacation. I loved every minute and can't think of anything I didn't like. My girls loved their week with Shayne and Kortneigh at our house. I don't think they even missed us! But Shayne and Kortneigh are a lot more fun than us.
