Thanksgiving 2012

Thanksgiving was all family this year.  All my siblings were able to make it and we had a full week of food, games, and more food!  We started off the week with bowling!

Thanksgiving day...
Aunt Greta and Evelyn making blueberry pie
Aunt Jessica with one of her amazing dips!  Everything she made was delicious!
Uncle Luke and Daryl on youtube looking for the best turkey carving techniques
The dessert table all contributed to by us:)
Bella and Aunt Greta
too much food=nap
Bella enjoying dessert

We played a lot of games.  Here are a couple I caught on camera...
This one the kids were blindfolded and had to use kitchen utensils to touch the person standing in front of them and then had to guess who it was.  We should of tried this one with the adults being blindfolded and I think that would have been fun too.
This one is called penny hose.  A penny is placed at the foot of the tights and you have to get the penny out without letting your hands or arms rub against each other.
a dance and singing show performed by these great kids

Family is our greatest blessing.  Very grateful for all the time spent together.
I was also able to see a few of my favorite ladies right before all the family arrived.  Morgan and Natalie who I went to high school with.  Morgan is pregnant with her second!  Exciting!

The week after Thanksgiving we went to Spokane for a doctors appointment for Evelyn.  While we were up there we went to play at the trampoline house!  We were the only ones there and Jane cried when we had to leave she loved it so much.  We also got to see Uncle Shayne for dinner since he was interviewing for med school for UW at their connection school in Spokane.
All of us in a row:)
Me jumping into the foam pit
Getting out of the foam pit is harder than it looks!
My girls loved the foam pit

The next day after we got home we had a baby shower for my friend Lauren at my house.  She is having a boy and everyone gave her their best boy advice!  All new news for me!
